Stakeholders

The RhônEco observatory is run by an interdisciplinary scientific group. It brings together ecologists, hydrobiologists, hydromorphologists, modellers and others. It currently involves more than 50 scientists (researchers, teacher-researchers, engineers, technicians, etc.).

The RhônEco programme works closely with those involved in restoring the river, in particular the partners in the Rhône Plan, local authorities and river management associations.

Steering committee

The Steering Committee brings together the scientific teams and the programme’s technical and financial partners.

It is responsible for defining the objectives and implementing the programme. In particular, it ensures that the scientific and operational issues are properly linked. It monitors the progress of the research and provides a forum for reporting the results.

Coordination

The technical coordination, management and promotion of the RhônEco programme are handled by the Graie, with the support of the European Union and the Rhône-Saône Plan partners.

Administrative and financial coordination is provided by INRAE, UR RiverLy.
